Held on the school grounds, the event welcomed students, families, staff and local residents for an evening of music, food, games and fun in the glorious sunshine. With over three hours of entertainment and activities, StockFest 2025 was a true showcase of the school’s values of aspiration, respect and community.
Live music was a highlight of the evening, with performances from Mrs Duffy’s Ukulele Group and the school’s Steel Pans Band creating a vibrant festival atmosphere. Visitors enjoyed delicious food stalls, student showcases, craft activities, competitions and prize giveaways - all designed to celebrate the end of another successful academic year.
Ms Stirling, Assistant Principal and event organiser, said:
“StockFest is one of the most joyful events in our school calendar. It’s a chance to bring everyone together and celebrate everything that makes our community so special. The atmosphere was incredible, and we’re already planning how to make next year’s even better!”
Now in its second year, StockFest has quickly become a much-loved tradition at Stockport Academy, offering a warm and welcoming space for families and friends to connect, relax and celebrate the end of term.
With the sun shining and spirits high, StockFest 2025 was a perfect way to round off the year – and a reminder of the power of community at the heart of the school.
