Over 130 pupils left the classroom behind to take part in work experience placements across a wide range of industries. From offices and workshops to salons and studios, students embraced the opportunity to explore the world of work and develop valuable skills that will support them in their future careers.
For those who remained in school, a packed programme of careers-focused activities ensured they didn’t miss out. Pupils took part in workshops and talks led by professionals from a variety of sectors, including:
- Social Media & Digital Marketing
- The Royal Air Force (RAF)
- Medicine & Healthcare
- Music Composition & Production
- Education & Teaching
- Hairdressing & Beauty
- Construction & Scaffolding
One of the highlights of the week was a buzzing Careers Networking Session, where students met with over 21 employers. These professionals shared their career journeys, offered advice, and answered questions about the skills and qualifications needed in their industries.
Ms Stirling, Assistant Principal, said: “Careers Week is a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore their ambitions and gain real insight into the world of work. We’re so proud of how they embraced every opportunity and grateful to all the employers and professionals who gave their time to support them.”
